Hernan Cattaneo and Mercurio Remix 'Attention' on Cercle Records

Written by Meagen Surowiecki  on February 23, 2026

Ten years after its original debut, HVOB’sAttention’ has been reborn through the lens of progressive house royalty by Hernan Cattaneo and Mercurio. As longtime fans of HVOB, Hernan and Mercurio approached the remix as a tribute, focusing on adding groove and power for the dancefloor without losing the original spirit of the track. Released on Cercle Records, the new reimagining proves that some melodies are truly timeless.

Originally written for a film project before anchoring HVOB’s seminal 2015 album Trialog, ‘Attention’ has always occupied a sacred space in the duo's discography. It’s a track defined by its "hypnotic beauty" and a delicate balance of vulnerability and atmosphere that helped define HVOB’s signature sound.

“Attention was the first song that really got me hooked. For me, this is electronic music at its best. Most of the magic was already there, so with Mercurio, we focused on adding beats and details to bring more power without losing the original spirit.” - Hernan Cattaneo

The 2026 version doesn't tear down the original; it builds a cathedral around it. While the haunting essence of the 2015 version remains intact, Cattaneo and Mercurio have injected a progressive club energy that is primed for peak-time sets. The track retains the ethereal, swirling pads of the original. A sophisticated, driving percussion line that demands movement, that bridges between the living room listener and the sunrise festival crowd.

In an era of fast-paced releases, this collaboration feels intentional by choosing a label synonymous with breathtaking locations and cinematic soundscapes, such as Cercle Records. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Trialog or a newcomer to the progressive scene, this reimagining is a reminder that ‘Attention’ is a state of mind.

“It’s always special when someone else reinterprets your music, and Hernan’s and Mercurio’s version really touched us” — HVOB

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
