North Coast Music Festival Announces After Party Lineup

Written by Meagen Surowiecki  on August 17, 2026

The music doesn't stop when the stages at North Coast Music Festival go dark. Chicago's festival weekend is set to keep the energy going well into the early morning hours with the official 2026 North Coast afterparty schedule, bringing a stacked lineup of electronic music heavy-hitters to venues across the city from Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, September 6.

For partygoers who aren't ready to call it a night after the final festival set, the official afterparties offer another way to experience North Coast beyond the festival grounds. From intimate club performances to major late-night shows at some of Chicago's most recognizable venues, this year's lineup covers a wide range of sounds, including bass, house, techno, and electronic music. With parties happening throughout the Chicago area and several options located near the festival grounds, fans can build their own late-night itinerary and keep dancing long after the main stages have closed.

North Coast's afterparty programming begins Thursday night with Mersiv taking over Sound-Bar, setting the tone for a weekend packed with late-night performances. It's an early opportunity for festivalgoers arriving in Chicago to jump straight into the after-hours action and get their North Coast weekend started before the festival's main programming even gets underway.

Friday brings a massive selection of official afterparties, giving fans plenty of options depending on their preferred sound and venue. Tape B heads to Ramova Theatre, while Dabin takes over House of Blues. Over at Sound-Bar, fans can catch Level Up, while Jigitz brings the party to Hideaway. The night continues with Wuki at ELA Nightclub and a Brownies & Lemonade Takeover at PoleKatz, adding even more variety to an already packed Friday schedule. Whether you're looking for bass-heavy production, a high-energy club atmosphere, or a late-night showcase featuring a lineup of multiple artists, Friday offers plenty of ways to extend the festival experience.

Saturday's afterparty schedule keeps the momentum going with another impressive collection of performances. GRiZ takes over Ramova Theatre, while Ganja White Night heads to House of Blues for what promises to be another major late-night destination for bass music fans. At Sound-Bar, ARMNHMR, presented by Passport, will keep the energy high. Marie Vaunt heads to Hideaway, while JSTJR takes over ELA Nightclub. Meanwhile, Holy Priest brings the party to 115 Bourbon St., and Alleycvt B2B YDG takes over PoleKatz, giving fans even more options for their Saturday night. With multiple venues hosting official events, Saturday is shaping up to be one of the biggest nights of the North Coast afterparty weekend.

Just because the festival weekend is winding down doesn't mean the party is over. Sunday's closing lineup at The Salt Shed features Wankdat, with a special Crankdat B2B Wooli performance. Meanwhile, Illenium heads to TAO, Slander takes over Sound-Bar, and 33 Below brings the energy to Hideaway. Fans can also catch 3BallMTY at PoleKatz, giving festivalgoers several ways to close out the weekend before heading home.

With four consecutive nights of official programming, North Coast Music Festival's 2026 afterparty schedule makes it clear that the experience extends far beyond the festival grounds. The weekend offers something for fans across the electronic music spectrum. Whether you're planning to dance until sunrise or simply want to catch one more of your favorite artists after the festival ends, Chicago will be filled with late-night options throughout Labor Day weekend.

North Coast Music Festival's official 2026 afterparties run September 3–6, with events taking place at venues throughout Chicago. Fans should check official event and ticket information for individual venue details, set times, and availability as the festival weekend approaches. The festival may have a closing time, but for North Coast fans, the night is just getting started.

Solomun at Pacha New York - Event Review

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. For over ten years, the Diynamic Music boss adhered to a strict, self-imposed summer boundary that once the Ibiza season starts, you do not cross time zones. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
