Teksupport Brings Solomun to New Open-Air Waterfront

Written by Meagen Surowiecki  on January 25, 2026

New York City’s nightlife landscape is about to gain a new horizon. Teksupport, one of the city’s most influential and forward-thinking nightlife brands, has announced a special open-air performance with global electronic music icon Solomun, set to take place on May 23 during Memorial Day Weekend. The event will unfold at the historic Fulton Fish Market in Hunts Point, marking the debut of large-scale outdoor concert programming along the venue’s East River waterfront.

Few artists command dance floors quite like Solomun. The Bosnian-born producer and DJ has long stood at the intersection of underground credibility and international acclaim, delivering expansive, emotionally driven sets that feel both intimate and monumental. From his legendary Solomun +1 residency in Ibiza to the continued evolution of his influential label, Dynamic Music, Solomun’s sound has shaped global club culture for over a decade. Experiencing his journey-driven approach in an open-air, industrial waterfront setting promises a rare and immersive moment for New York’s dance community.

Over the years, Teksupport has redefined what nightlife can look like in New York City, transforming overlooked and unconventional spaces into cultural landmarks. From submarine factories and navy yards to subterranean ballrooms, passenger boats, and even Grand Central Station, Teksupport has built its reputation on turning raw environments into unforgettable experiences. Now this year, the Fulton Fish Market will commence as a new chapter in the premier party brand that offers both scale and grit, unlike anything else in the city.

Presented in partnership with the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative, the May 23 event also signals an evolution for the historic institution itself. Founded in 1822, the nonprofit, member-owned Cooperative operates a 400,000-square-foot facility in the Bronx and supplies nearly half of New York City’s seafood. Long a vital part of the city’s food system, the market is now embracing unexpected cultural programming, positioning itself as a powerful new platform for large-scale artistic moments.

At the helm of Teksupport is founder Rob Toma, whose vision has reshaped the city’s underground music landscape over the past decade. Widely credited with introducing some of Europe’s most influential dance music brands to the United States, Toma and his team have consistently pushed New York nightlife forward through thoughtful curation and cutting-edge production.

“After many years of work, we’re excited to partner with the Fulton Fish Market Collective and the City to unlock a truly special location in Hunts Point,” Toma shared. “Continuing our commitment to pushing culture forward in New York City.”

With Solomun soundtracking the sunset over the East River and Teksupport unlocking yet another unexpected venue, this Memorial Day Weekend event is shaping up to be a defining moment for the city’s open-air dance culture.

Tickets are available on the Teksupport website and Dice.FM.

Solomun at Pacha New York - Event Review

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. For over ten years, the Diynamic Music boss adhered to a strict, self-imposed summer boundary that once the Ibiza season starts, you do not cross time zones. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
