New Era of NYC Nightlife

A new error in clubbing has emerged through the streets of New York City. The city is home to mecca nightspots such as Pyramid, Limelight, and Tunnel. Today, the hottest nightspots are in other burrows such as Queens and Brooklyn with Brooklyn Mirage, Avant Gardner, Knockdown Center, and Elsewhere. As nightclubs start to evolve and revamp crew teams, directors, and which leads to new rules and the old times are gone. A milestone in New York City nightlife has evolved with new nightclubs with a new take on nightlife. More lounge clubs with an intimate vibe, nightclubs where guests can interact with the artists, and immersive and innovative nightspots. Here’s a list of the newest and hottest nightclubs in the New York City area.

Musica Club NYC

Retroclub NYC

Get transported back into the early clubbing nights at Retroclub NYC. The retro setting and the best of 70s, 80s, and 90s plus Classic and Freestyle bump through the speakers as guests dance throughout the night. The concept was born from a desire and need to bring back the past. The dream turned into a reality and it is now one of the hottest nightspot lounges in the city. Guests can enjoy the fantastic selection of throw-back cocktails plus their signature specialty concussions.


Public Records NYC

Address: 233 Butler St, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Public Records NYC is the new multi-faceted, ever-evolving hospitality and music space built within the historic ASPCA headquarters building. Throughout its opening, they curated programming of a variety of live acts, DJs, and producers into the intimate space. The venue includes a live room known as The Sound Room, a bar + restaurant, a cafe + record shop, and an outdoor garden. It is entirely vegan, has minimal waste, and champions diverse trans-genre programming across various art practices. The Sound Room features an entirely custom-built sound system from the collaboration of Devon Turnbull of OJAS and Jason Ojeda, a custom-built Isonoe rotary mixer (which also features in the bar), and lighting designed and built by Brooklyn-based Nitemind. 


SILO

Address: 90 Scott Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237, USA

Official opening weekend, beginning on February 10 is the immersive dance music club, SILO. Anew 500-cap multi-genre music and event space built in a converted hangar in East Williamsburg, the hub of Brooklyn’s new nightlife scene. It first began as an underground party. Over the years Secret Loft grew from a fun idea into a full-blown series with a huge following to inspire into a reality. Founders and close friends Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson created SILO after a few years of careful planning, fundraising, and pure passion. SILO looks forward to hosting a wide range of DJs and producers from realms of dance music. Spreading and growing the community even more. Finally, SILO is welcome to any and all who find themselves seeking such a space. This is a gender-neutral space, enforcing no gender norms or power structures and tolerating no forms of hate or bias.
