Forest Hills Stadium has long held a unique place in New York’s cultural landscape. While its early claim to fame was hosting the U.S. Open and tennis pioneer Althea Gibson, it also earned a place in music history by staging performances from The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones. After decades of dormancy following the tournament’s move in 1977, the venue was revitalized in 2013 through a partnership with Madison House Presents and the West Side Tennis Club. Since then, it has re-emerged as a go-to destination for world-class live music.
Fans attending this season’s shows can elevate their night out with the Speakeasy Suites, a collection of tucked-away spaces offering concierge service, or opt for the Golden Apple Premium Experience, which includes early access to GA shows, a backstage lounge, private restrooms, and a cash bar. This year also debuts a state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system, designed by industry legend Dave “Rat” Levine, offering pristine sound quality while minimizing noise spill into the surrounding community.

The venue’s location in the vibrant borough of Queens, NY, Forest Hills, adds to its charm, with local eateries providing pre-show dining and on-site vendors serving crowd favorites. Expect bites from Rokstar Chicken, Potluck Club, Bradfords BBQ, Nick’s Bistro, Stacked Sandwich Shop, and 5 Burro Café.
Forest Hills Stadium continues to support local organizations like QueensWay, an initiative to transform a former LIRR branch into public parkland, and Queens Community House, a settlement house serving residents across the borough. Easily accessible via subway (E, F, M, R lines) or a quick 15-minute LIRR ride from Penn Station, the stadium remains one of the most convenient and beloved music venues in New York City.
The 2025 season is made possible with the support of key partners, including American Express, T-Mobile, AXS, Anheuser-Busch, Ilegal Mezcal, poppi, Gray Whale Gin, Absolut Vodka, Archer Roose Wines, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, and GOB.
