The premiere event company Do LaB has announced the music lineup for the most original and dynamic festival, Lightning in a Bottle. Taking place at Buena Vista Lake in Southern California during Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-27, 2024. The festival provides a diversity of art installations, immersive environments, and sceneries. Each year the festival presents the most stellar and vibrant display of lights and lasers, plus imaginative decorations. Inviting top-tier music curation from DJs, bands, and singers. 

The 2024 edition is all about the origin and meaning of a music festival, and having as much fun as possible. It's a festival defined as both a transformational wonderland and a wild party where everyone can be free to express themselves in any form. Making this festival more than just music and arts in an experience of discovering new paths within the person. 

With the 2024 lineup, Lightning in a Bottle continues to build on its legacy of booking a diverse roster of artists across the worlds of dance music and beyond. Headliners for the upcoming edition are three of the UK’s most iconic vocalists, featuring the moody croonings of James Blake, London producer and singer Labrinth, and the chart-topping M.I.A. More headliners include Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, Lane 8, Tipper, CloZee, Skream, Bob Moses, Tychoo, Nora En Pure, Honey Dijon, Damian Lazarus, ANNA, Justin Martin, and Barclay Crenshaw. LIB festival is known for inviting the top underground artists in the scene, and a wide range of music from the top artists in drum n’ bass like the ‘HIJINXX’ label.

Fleetmac Wood

Their mission is a be known as NOT a tribute DJ cover project but a rave and AV show that reworks the classic-rock sounds of the Mac into a spectrum of electronic genres. The duo from LA is known for their infamous remix of the hits enriched into their style of filling each of their reworks with deep cuts, ready to fill the entire dancefloor. The duo formed in 2012 from DJs Roxanne Roll and Alex Oxley hosting their tunnel-visioned event celebrating the extensive catalog of Fleetwood Mac. Jasper Tygner

This UK artist is a producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Jasper creates a kaleidoscope of arrangments and elements in each track he generates. Making every performance an experience with every driven melody and transition. Shaped by early raving experiences growing up in London’s electronic underground scene. Jasper’s self-released debut EP received strong radio support on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, BBC Introducing, and Reprezent Radio, being championed by Jaguar and Jamz Supernova. Jasper Tygner's fanbase continues to grow and expand and is firmly placed as one of this year’s most promising ones to watch in the current dance music scene. 

Yulia Niko

Currently based in Berlin, Yulia Niko rose on a global circuit as a highly respected artist on labels, Crosstown Rebels and Watergate. Over two decades of commitment to electronic music and its transformative capabilities, she demonstrated her innate talent for DJing and production. As she shifts into the next chapter of her musical story, with each performance she channels her desire to harness the transformative power of music into her sets. Fueling each dancefloor and nightclub to a positive energy with her melodic productions that oscillate between house and techno. 

Machinedrum

Travis Stewart better known as Machinedrum is easily the most well-known multi-talented artist in the electronic dance scene. From the very beginning of stardom, he established his sound as a mix of hip-hop, drum n’ bass, injecting elements of other genres. Forming a unique sound for his followers and fans. Every time he touches the DJ decks he unleashes a journey full of surreal emotions and rich percussions. Stewart has kept busy with collaborative projects such as Sepalcure (with Praveen Sharma) and JETS (with Jimmy Edgar), in addition to production work for the likes of Dawn Richard, Azealia Banks, and Jesse Boykins III, while his albums, including 2020's A View of U, featured guests including Freddie Gibbs and Tigran Hamasyan. He's continued exploring drum'n'bass and garage on EPs like 2023's 4#TRAX.

DJ Holographic

DJ Holographic's only mission and purpose is to serve up a mix of musical cuisine that combines House, passionate R&B, Hip Hop, unreserved Disco, and the true sounds of Detroit Techno, plus Motown. She is one of the top respected artists in the Detroit Techno, House Music scene by creating original performances and DJ sets that transcend the listener to new boundaries. She spent the past few years traveling the world spreading her sound and passion with other fellow house music lovers, generating her ability to play anywhere on a global spectrum. Four years ago she released her debut EP ‘Parallel Shifting’ on her label Hitchhiker, with more releases to follow. She continues to play as a resident at bars and clubs in her circle, as well as touring the world and infamous music festivals. On April 16th Planet-E's Detroit Love Vol. 5 hits shelves which Holographic compiled and mixed full of unreleased exclusives from some of her favorite producers across the globe.

Lightning in a Bottle is a true off-the-grid experience, providing five full days to explore the music, art, and magic the expansive grounds have to offer. Arriving from day one allows weekend warriors of all kinds to pick out the best campsites alongside their crew, attend pre-parties soundtracked by lineup artists, and become fully immersed in the festival before the crowd.

New for this year, Lightning in a Bottle is introducing three-day tickets and hotel package options. Making the LIB a better experience for attendees and the LIB community the three-day pass will be more accessible to those who’d like to build their adventure at their own pace. Other new packages available this year include Easy Peasy Pre-Set Camping and Pre-Set RV options, taking away any of the stress of setting up camp upon arrival and instead being met with the convenience of having accommodations taken care of from the outset. All of the new packages are designed with the idea of attendee comfort in mind, providing flexibility and more time for enjoyment and exploration.
