The newly formed live entertainment company, EMW Presents which stands for East Meets West is making a new experience in the New York City dance music scene. The owners, Thomas Turner of Arizona-based Relentless Beats and NYC’s Kevin Mitchell and Max Roseff are stepping into the New York market to produce high-quality dance music events and shows at unique city locations. Kevin was formerly with SFX / LiveStyle as the senior talent buyer of Made Event/Electric Zoo before its acquisition in 2022. Max was formerly with SFX and has most recently operated as an independent event producer. Within the last year, events they have produced as EMW Presents include AnjunaBeats at Pier 17, Sable Valley at Silo Brooklyn, Tinlicker at Brooklyn Hangar, LSR/CITY at Kings Theatre, and Tchami at Angel Orensanz Foundation. Later in the summer, the company will present Anjunabeats for its second turn at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on August 3 and Vintage Culture at Under The K Bridge on September 28. Tickets for both events are still available.

“I’ve long admired New York City nightlife culture from afar. With over 25 years of experience running Relentless Beats, and through many conversations with my peers over the years, it became clear I could make an impact on one of the largest entertainment destinations in the world,” shares Thomas Turner.  “Joining forces with Kevin Mitchell and Max Roseff, EMW (East Meets West) is a culmination of several marquee dance music careers joining forces to positively affect New York City nightlife.” Adds Kevin Mitchell, “We've been industry peers for more than two decades and always shared a great respect for one another.  Max and I knew one another from our time together at SFX. Through a mutual friend, it became clear that Thomas, Max, and I shared similar visions and from there it became clear the next step was to build something together here in NYC.”

The gorgeous and historic location of Brooklyn Army Terminal offers a unique experience with a breathtaking backdrop of waterfront views of the Manhattan, and New Jersey skylines, getting the full spectrum of the city. It was once a military base, that's now a manufacturing campus in the neighborhood of Sunset Park. It features a large outdoor area and a gritty warehouse space that forms a premier setting for music events.

The Chris Lake: Black Book Records on the Pier is a two-day event, featuring multiple elite artists. Tickets are selling fast, which will look like a sold-out event. Grab tickets and two-day and single-day passes now. Chris Lake has performed in New York many times in the past, this is an event that is completely different and out of his element. Solomun at Pacha New York - Event Review

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
