BEMF Announces Full 2026 Lineup

Written by Meagen Surowiecki  on March 28, 2026

In the hyper-commercialized landscape of modern nightlife, algorithms often dictate lineups, and "VIP experiences" threaten the dance floor scene and culture. There is a desperate need for a reminder of why we started dancing in the first place. On March 28, that reminder arrives in full force.

The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF) is returning for its 18th anniversary, taking over 314 Scholes for a marathon session spanning from 1 PM until the break of dawn. This Brooklyn-based festival is a homecoming for a movement that began on sweaty, improvised dance floors and has become a global cultural blueprint. BEMF has always been a festival built on the spirit of grabbing a cab across the borough to catch the final 20 minutes of a legendary set, or discovering your new favorite producer in a room you didn't know existed.

This year, the festival reasserts its mission to reshape the independent curators shaping culture from the ground up. Produced by a powerhouse trio, MeanRed’s Jen Lyon, cultural strategist Katie Longmyer, and Renegade NYC founder Sam Black, the festival is a rejection of "flattened" nightlife. BEMF offers five distinct spaces and seven unique lineups, each curated by the collectives that actually keep the city’s pulse beating.

BEMF lies in its diversity, with one affordable ticket granting attendees access to the full spectrum of New York’s electronic scene. Sprawled across the Brooklyn nightlife square, The Warehouse kicks the night off with Support Women DJs, a global platform empowering femme artists, featuring Hiroko Yamamura and Crossbow, before shifting into the late-night "Vigilante x Benny Soto" session that carries the vibe through to midday. Shift over to The Skatepark for those who like it raw. Body Bag takes over the concrete with high-intensity sets from KING, Nurse, and more. This space splits into two worlds at the Wandering Barman. By day, Mizz Softee brings Brooklyn-born techno and bespoke production to the "crème de la techno queer." By night, Heads Know, founded by journalist Arielle Lana LeJarde, takes the reins to highlight the innovators and community-builders of counterculture. Experience the open air with Renegade in the afternoon, at The Courtyard & Rooftop. Head to the LoHi Bar rooftop, where Hot Honey Sundays will keep the energy soaring from 10 PM until 8 AM.

Beyond the speakers, BEMF remains a platform for "risk and discovery." The day will feature curated panel discussions and local food vendors, fostering a space where the community can connect outside the strobe lights. As Brooklyn nightlife continues to ebb and flow, BEMF stands as a lighthouse for the independent spirit. It is an invitation to step away from the mainstream and back into the intimacy of the underground.

This is BEMF. This is Brooklyn. This is why we dance.

Solomun at Pacha New York - Event Review

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. For over ten years, the Diynamic Music boss adhered to a strict, self-imposed summer boundary that once the Ibiza season starts, you do not cross time zones. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
