ARC Music Festival has just dropped its most ambitious announcement to date, revealing a massive expansion to a four-day format for 2026. Returning to its home in Union Park over Labor Day Weekend, September 4–7, 2026. Presented by Auris Presents, the festival is leaning harder than ever into its reputation as a global pilgrimage for electronic music purists.
“Every year we face the same challenge: we want to include more artists than the schedule allows. The global community is thriving, and ARC always flies by,” says ARC Co-Founder and Lead Talent Buyer John Curley. “Just as we hit our stride, the weekend is over, and we never want the music to stop. By expanding to four days, we can showcase more of the talent we love and create even more unforgettable moments for our community. This marks the beginning of a new era for ARC.”
Last year was my first time experiencing the ARC Music Festival, and I cannot wait to return! From the crowd, the music, the lineup, the atmosphere, plus there was elrow. Some of my all-time favorite sets are from ARC. There is no way I am missing ARC Music Festival 2026 with an additional day added. More music, more parties, more fun. The sets and performances by the DJs remain among my favorites of all time. Last year had Eric Prydz, Pryda, Nicole Moudaber, KI/KI, Kettama, and John Summit; they were all my favorite performances and still remain among all-time.

The 2026 lineup is a masterclass in diverse electronic curation. From the cinematic, futuristic sounds of Anyma to the legendary grit of Underworld, the lineup covers every corner of the dancefloor. Celebrating the global champions with the return of the beloved Michael Bibi and the high-energy Brazilian sensation Mochakk. Chicago’s own icon Honey Dijon leads a deep roster of local legends. Hard techno "high priestess" Sara Landry and the enigmatic I Hate Models are set to bring the intensity. Look out for a massive showing from Chase & Status, bringing the UK drum and bass fire to the Windy City.
What truly sets ARC apart is its penchant for unique, one-off pairings. This year’s back-to-back schedule is staggering, featuring Detroit Love with a triple-threat powerhouse featuring Carl Craig, Moodymann, and Stacey Pullen. Other acts include The Blessed Madonna back-to-back Lil’ Louis. Forming a bridge between Chicago’s roots and modern house. A meeting of the veteran Relief sound and the new school with Green Velvet back-to-back Josh Baker. Also including techno sensations Joy Orbison and Ben UFO back-to-back. A dream pairing for deep-digging vinyl enthusiasts. Plus progressive titan and COS Recordings label boss, Cripstoph.

In addition to the returning titans, the massive Grid, the sun-soaked Expansions, and the industrial Area 909, ARC 2026 introduces a brand-new stage, The Midway. Inspired by Chicago’s civic history and its international airport, The Midway is designed to feel like a global terminal. It’s a physical tribute to the "worldwide diaspora of house music," celebrating how a sound born in Chicago’s underground traveled to every corner of the globe and is now coming back home.
With the festival expansion comes an expanded ARC After Dark series. Now running for five nights, Thursday–Monday. The series will take over the city’s best venues with exclusive sets, label takeovers, and surprise back-to-back performances. These legendary afters are available exclusively to ARC pass holders. Whether you're there for the high-bpm euphoria of Salute, the jazz-inflected deep house of Chaos in the CBD, or the "After Midnight" madness of Matroda x San Pacho, ARC 2026 is shaping up to be a historic moment for the culture.
VIP and GA weekend passes are now available to purchase through the official ARC Music Festival website. Secure them now before they're sold out.
