Paul van Dyk is one of the leading legends in Trance, for decades his name was up in neon lights performing at iconic nightclubs and festivals. Recently, he announced his new VENTURE X live event concept which launches in North America this February 2023.
He famously feeds off his fans and the crowd, conducting in unison like the famous maestro he became to be. Shifting gears in a different direction with new elements and craft that were itchy to be unleashed. An entirely new context, focusing on embracing the unexpected. VENTURE X is an exciting new concept where the master DJ and curator sources from the finest trance, progressive house, and techno music available and brings it all together during one incredible evening. Completely unique in sight and sound, once entering VENTURE X the mind and body will turn into a force of nature like none other. This is the mission behind Paul van Dyk.
“VENTURE X allows me to explore the width of what electronic music means to me, not just what people expect me to play. It allows me the space to play what I think people should really know, feel, and be exposed to. People know me for trance but there is so much more. VENTURE X allows me to do this as a musical concept because I won’t play 130 BPM straight through but rather a wider musical experience. With most DJ sets I find you either have techno but missing the progressive sequence that takes you on a journey or you have a progressive sound that’s missing the punch. For me, that’s what it’s about, the drive, the push, the pull, and the memories that you create.” - Paul van Dyk
The VENTURE X North American tour is in full motion, stopping acrossing the nation and Canada in cities including New York City, Montreal, Pontiac, Denver, Portland, San Francisco, and Austin. See the full tour dates below.
Feb 17 - Toybox - Toronto, ON

The summer wouldn’t be spectacular without All Day I Dream. Forging the beautiful memories that last a lifetime for the past eleven years. The creator, Lee Burridge, has crafted a worldwide musical movement throughout the years. Expanding the positive energy to over forty cities and countless festivals. The infamous daytime party brand has announced the 2022 world tour.
The wanderlust event brand is known for acceptance only to embrace love and happiness. Each time the party brand transforms another nightclub or venue into a magical utopia. At my first ever ADID, I was completely taken by the positive energy. I saw the passion in Lee Burridge and his music. This year welcomes “Dreamers" to a new season to gather together once again.
All Day I Dream will see to expand to greater lengths by announcing its debut multi-day music festival. On May 12-15, the camping festival will happen in the luscious surroundings of Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale, California. The inaugural lineup will include none other than Lee Burridge, bringing together over thirty-five members of the ADID family. Plus, live acts and bands such as Little Dragon, RY X, Cubicolor, Jan Blomqvist, and Gheist.
ADID returns to its spiritual birthplace of Brooklyn, NY, for the first of two blissful events at The Brooklyn Mirage. After a sell-out show breaking all attendance records last year, this event is one not to be missed. All Day I Dream will continue its tour at Fort York in Toronto, Levitt Pavilion in Denver, plus the Chicago takeover event. Tickets are available now for the world tour set to conquer once again.
The Grammy-winning live electronic trio, RÜFÜS DU SOL, has a sensationally distinct sound that has captivated everyone globally. They announced the second installment of their highly anticipated North American ‘Surrender’ Tour. They will bring their esteemed live show to an additional 12 US markets for 19 cities across North America and will feature Paraleven, WhoMadeWho, and Bora Uzer on select dates.
The ‘Surrender’ tour has already seen significant success, with over 24,000 tickets sold across two nights in Forest Hills, NY, and Toronto, ON, selling out at 15,000 capacity. Additionally, the performance lined up in Chicago has seen such high demand that the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island opened its lawn to accommodate more fans. Added cities include Nashville, TN, Alpharetta, GA, and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.
The expansive ‘Surrender’ Tour is the most recent live performance announcement from the band since wrapping up a double-weekender at Sundream Tulum. RÜFÜS DU SOL’s debut destination event brought world-class music and wellness to an international crowd of music enthusiasts at Papaya Playa Project in Quintana Roo, Mexico. I witnessed the first edition as an attendee. RÜFÜS DU SOL performed both nights, with two live sets and one DJ set. It’s been categorized in the top greatest sets of all times in festival history. They played a variety of house music mixed with progressive and electronic, mashed with hitting throughout the set of their own music. Both live sets were spectacular, and they played all their chart-topping hits. The second night they played a surprising sunrise closing set. Singing and dancing on the beach to one of my favorite artists was a magical experience. It's your chance to see the groundbreaking Grammy-winning live trio on tour. Public tickets go on sale on Friday, April 8 at 10 AM.

In honor of tonight’s Grammy, the nominated artist Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs releases a somber yet tantalizing new single, ‘Blood In The Snow.’ This is his first original release of 2022. The track marks a new chapter and direction for the dynamic artist who has also announced his first album in a decade, When the Lights Go, due out later this year on his label imprint Nice Age.
The single is about the artist's deep and personal journey across a ten-year period. ‘Blood In The Snow’ is full of an obscure and defying sound boasting gripping synths and saturated layers of melodic haunting melodies. Once you’ve heard in his delicate voice, come to a halting crescendo mixed of textures that crunch together. “This song is about melting glaciers and wanting a daughter, where to put love in this tailspin,” says Orlando about the track. The new album marks a departure in sound, defined by the events of the last few years.
When the Lights Go is a substantial body of work, containing 17 tracks representing the duration between albums. The new album also marks a shift into the pop domain; Orlando’s vocals take center stage with arrangements that complement the sadness in the songwriting.
“I feel grateful to know that there are people interested in more music from me. So I want to give them something significant in length” - Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
He announced the ‘A Dream I Have’ tour following the upcoming new album and released single. The 22 date tour will include iconic venues such as Spybar in Chicago, Flash in DC, and Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Additional stops include Red Rocks Amphitheater, the DoLab Stage at Coachella, and more. The tour comes amidst Orlando’s Grammy nomination for his track ‘Heartbreak’ with Bonobo up for Best Dance/Electronic Recording this year.
