Ultra Music Festival Announces Phase II 2024 Lineup

Miami’s premiere music festival that has been taking over the mecca party city for over two decades, Ultra has unveiled its massive star-studded Phase II lineup. The lineup already has more than sixty iconic artists and acts, boasting legendary and newly created back-to-back acts and groups. The 2024 edition of the weekend festival will take place from Friday, March 22 - Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami.

For over two decades, Ultra Music Festival has been the mecca of all dance music festivals, making it the festival of premieres and unreleased music for artists and DJs. For years it was the home where dreams were made and unforgettable performances and reunions. Ultra Music Festival is the only festival where attendees can hear the next big hits in EDM from the biggest names in the industry. Ultra is known for iconic label/ brand takeovers from upcoming and legendary artists.

In October, Ultra announced its impressive roster of Phase 1 talent, including Calvin Harris’ epic return to the festival after ten years, as well as the Ultra debut of FISHER and Chris Lakes UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Additional headliners include Afrojack, Black Tiger Sex Machine, David Guetta, Excision, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nora En Pure, Oliver Heldens, SLANDER, SVDDEN DEATH, Tiësto, Vintage Culture, Peggy Gou, and Zeds Dead.

The phase II lineup announcement, Ultra welcomes back a plethora of veteran headliners including A State of Trance boss Armin van Buuren, UK drum & bass duo Chase & Status, KSHMR, Ophelia Records founder Seven Lions, and global party starter Steve Aoki. The festival will also present debut headlining performances from German techno artist Klangkuenstler and an exclusive live set from British singer/songwriter/producer Elderbrook.

Ultra’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE will host previously-announced headliners such as Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer,   Swiss duo Adriatique, Belgian techno queen Amelie Lens,  Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, GRAMMY-nominated English duo CamelPhat, Swedish production wonder Eric Prydz, electronic music icons Sasha_ John Digweed, an exclusive live set by Dutch DJ/Filth on Acid label owner Reinier Zonneveld, and Russian producer/DJ/singer Nina Kraviz.

The RESISTANCE brand has earned a celebrated reputation for programming unique back-to-back performances, and Ultra Music Festival 2024 will keep that tradition alive. Artists taking the RESISTANCE stage together for the very first time include Oliver Heldens’ techno alias HI-LO b2b UK artist Eli Brown, as well as Afterlife favorites Massano b2b Chris Avantgarde. These sets will join the previously-announced back-to-back performances from  Dubfire b2b Ilario Alicante, and melodic techno maestros Joris Voorn b2b Kölsch. Following their performances at Ultra, the party will continue at the RESISTANCE Miami U.S. Club residency at Miami Beach nightclub M2. The festival will welcome sets from melodic duo Mind Against and multi-talented instrumentalist and composer Giorgia Angiuli (live). The veteran festival acts returning to RESISTANCE include Italian brother duo Mathame presenting their ‘AV: SHOW’, German techno artist Ann Clue and multifaceted DJ/producer Moritz Hofbauer, while Ukrainian progressive house stalwart Miss Monique will make her festival debut.

The phase II lineup continues with Ultra’s announcement of label showcase stages and takeovers, curated by some of the highest totem imprints in the industry. The festival will welcome inaugural takeovers from Nora En Pure’s ethereal Purified label and Seven Lions’ mesmeric Ophelia Records, while Coone’s hardstyle label Dirty Workz returns for the third year in a row. The Ophelia Records takeover will feature a handful of imprint-veterans making their Ultra Music Festival debuts, including acts such as Australian bass producer Blanke, Canadian cinematic wunderkind Far Out, melodic duo Gem & Tauri, trance & melodic bass weaver Jason Ross, genre-blending producer/DJ/vocalist Pauline Herr, guitar-slinging dubstep artist Trivecta, and renowned bass maestro Wooli.

A collection of festival veterans are on the 2024 ballot including the legendary English duo Orbital, who will make their highly-anticipated return to Ultra for the first time since 2010. More returning festival favorites include Afrojack’s underground alias Kapuchon, GRAMMY-nominated producer Andrew Bayer, English hard trance act Ben Nicky, Swiss act EDX, Canadian DJ/musician Frank Walker, live-electronic duo Kasablanca, trance virtuoso Maddix, ULTRA Worldwide staple Mykris, Vancouver-based DJ/singer Nostalgix, and Dutch progressive house icon Nicky Romero

As an Ultra veteran, it was the first music festival I ever attended, it opened my eyes to a whole new world and a beautiful loving community. I saw the debut headlining performance from Avicii. Ultra Music Festival segmented my long career as a music journalist, covering the festival for countless years. Ultra was the only festival I returned to and each year it was an entirely new experience for me. It’s the largest festival in South Florida, bringing in hundreds of thousands of attendees from different raves generations from multiple continents and countries globally. Ultra Music Festival has expanded worldwide hosting the festival in Europe, Japan, Brazil, and more. Ultra Miami was the first and original dance music festival. What started to be a fun weekend festival for music lovers, in two decades the festival has emerged into a global brand. Continue to follow and stay up to date with more announcements on Ultra Music Festival 2024.
