Sammy Virji Two-Night Takeover at Brooklyn Army Terminal

Written by Meagen Surowiecki  on February 22, 2026

The pulse of global dance culture is shifting, and New York City is its next major destination. In a landmark moment for the city's electronic scene, the undisputed architect of the UK Garage revival, Sammy Virji, is set to headline a massive two-night open-air showcase at the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal on July 31 and August 1, 2026.

Sammy Virji is no longer just a rising star; he was recently crowned DJ Mag’s Best Producer 2025. He established himself in the industry by drawing record-breaking crowds at Coachella. Virji has transitioned UK Garage from a niche underground sound into a global powerhouse. Known for his signature "all-smiles" energy and gold-certified tracks like "If U Need It" and the Skepta collaboration "Cops & Robbers," Virji brings a sound to the stage that is as technically brilliant as it is infectious.

The Brooklyn Army Terminal provides a magnitude of sound, light, and production. A former military base turned manufacturing campus in Sunset Park, the venue offers a raw industrial aesthetic quintessentially New York. The combination of a gritty warehouse vibe and unobstructed waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline creates a premier setting for a quintessential summertime soiree.

Presented by EMW Presents and The Bowery Presents, this event represents a commitment to high-level production and the evolution of dance music culture in New York City. From intimate clubs to dark warehouses, the goal remains the same, by delivering world-class music in the city’s most iconic spaces.

As a cornerstone of the North America Tour 2026 Part 1, this two-day takeover features a heavy-hitting roster of special guests designed to deliver a unique experience each night. On Friday, July 31, 2026, Sammy Virji is joined by the high-octane energy of X CLUB. and the innovative sounds of 33Below. The momentum continues on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with genre-defying artist Sam Gellaitry and a second appearance from 33Below.

General Admission Tickets are now available to the public via DICE, and VIP Reservation Premium table options can be requested through the official VIP portal.

Solomun at Pacha New York - Event Review

Every artist has a line they won't cross. For Bosnia-born, Hamburg-raised electronic giant Solomun, that line was geographical. For over ten years, the Diynamic Music boss adhered to a strict, self-imposed summer boundary that once the Ibiza season starts, you do not cross time zones. No transatlantic flights, no grueling long-hauls, and absolutely no leaving […]
