Over the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed a series of cryptic messages throughout the city and in Brooklyn with the Experts Only emblem. Yesterday, the community lit up a storm with the ultimate teaser, the Experts Only Festival NYC. Created by none other thanJohn Summit, the festival will take over Randall's Island on September 20 and 21 in partnership with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, Project 91, and EMW Presents. Everyone in the dance music community wants to say THANK YOU for bringing back a festival to Randall’s Island. With an anticipated draw of fifty thousand fans across two days, Experts Only marks Summit's return to New York City, and he is bringing over fifteen artists across multiple stages with him.
Already making his mark in New York City with his sold-out Madison Square Garden performance. John Summit is returning to the Big Apple with an explosive lineup featuring the best talent in house and techno. Festivalgoers can expect two headlining sets from Summit himself, alongside epic back-to-back sets from Kaskade x Cassian and Green Velvet x Layton Giordani, plus performances by LP Giobbi, DJ Seinfeld, Kasablanca (Live), AYYBO, Pete Tong, TEED, and many more.
With over fifteen artists performing across two massive stages, the Experts Only Festival will be a curated cultural movement. The lineup highlights top influential electronic artists, as well as up-and-coming and local talent, including genre-blurring acts like Enamour, back-to-back withWeska, Tony Y Not, and Lumia, reinforcing Summit’s commitment to spotlighting boundary-pushing sounds.
Set against the sweeping views of Manhattan’s skyline, Randall’s Island was the former home to Electric Zoo and Governors Ball. In September, it will be transformed into an immersive paradise. The festival will be reinforced with state-of-the-art stage designs, interactive brand activations, world-class food and drink, and a full spectrum of unforgettable experiences. Luxury meets nightlife as LIV at Fontainebleau Miami and Vegas brings its signature VIP energy with LIV Skydeck bottle service tables.
What makes Summit stand out isn’t just his rise to fame, but his dedication to creating more dance tracks each day until he is fully recognized as a DJ, producer, and artist. In a continued push for inclusivity in dance music, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Femme House, the nonprofit founded by LP Giobbi. The organization provides free education, mentorship, and support to women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and gender-expansive artists, helping build a more equitable music future.
