After fifteen years of relentlessly pushing boundaries in the global techno scene, Charlotte de Witte is stepping into a bold new chapter. The Belgian DJ, producer, and KNTXT label boss has officially announced her long-awaited debut album, entitled simply ‘Charlotte’. The debut is set to be released on November 7 on her infamous imprint.

A milestone moment for an artist who has spent over a decade at the bleeding edge of techno, releasing twenty-five acclaimed EPs, shutting down New York City streets with a popup party, conquering the largest festival stages in the world, and redefining what it means to be a techno headliner in today's music generation. Charlotte de Witte even met the love of her life and husband Enrico Sangiuliano through her passion and love of techno.
The album’s lead single, ‘The Realm’, is scheduled to be released on April 10. The track is a dark acid-force of destruction for the decks. Which has already become a signature opener in her sets, the track is every bit the statement piece fans were hoping for. Built on tightly coiled beats, a teeth-rattling acid line, and Charlotte’s signature no-nonsense drive, “The Realm” is both a club weapon and a personal manifesto. The track pulses with urgency and power, while anthemic spoken-word vocals whisper a seductive invitation: “Enter the realm of the unknown.”
“‘The Realm’ is a really special track for me. It marks the beginning of a whole new chapter. It’s the first single from my debut album, and it carries the energy and philosophy that inspired the entire record.” - Charlotte de Witte
While Charlotte de Witte has long been a defining voice in electronic music, ‘Charlotte’ marks her most personal project. Spanning eleven tracks, the album promises to be an emotional journey through Charlotte’s techno sound and story in the music industry. Expect moments of tension and release, precision and rawness, minimalism and maximalism, all crafted with passionate techno force that will refine its known sound.
“This album is not just a collection of tracks; it’s a reflection of who I am, where I come from, and what continues to drive me: the dancefloor.” - Charlotte de Witte.
The album announcement follows an impressive start to 2025 for Charlotte de Witte. Earlier this year, she hosted a triumphant run of shows at Belgium’s Flanders Expo, selling over 70,000 tickets across three nights, followed by a spontaneous street party in her hometown that drew thousands. Also, she is set to make her headline performance at Detroit’s renowned music festival, Movement.
With ‘The Realm’ making its official release into the world, and the full album on the horizon, ‘Charlotte’ marks more than just a debut. It’s a portal, and a love letter to the techno community that’s grown with her since day one. From now until November, the build-up and excitements grows stronger.
